A tale of SaaS and pricing

Our startup needs the ability to transcribe calls of employees that are customer facing and there is not much information online on how we can create bots that can join the calls and transcribe them (just like otter.ai)

I turn to ChatGPT for ideas on how to do this.

There is a link to recall.ai which has more information and possibly where we can sign up.

PRICING

First thought: Its backed by YC. I have a huge negative bias against it. Most of them would just have an incentive to squeeze out as much money as possible.
Anyway I overcome the bias and move on.

No Pricing?
There is no pricing page or pricing info anywhere. Google to the rescue

The pricing in Google search results is for some other recall.ai startup

Let me register and then pay for it. I mean it’s one api, what could it cost?

Uh The “Get Started” is not a registration link

Guess I will have to go ahead and book a call. I should have given up at this point but this API will save us tons of time and money for our team.

Meeting booked. Wallets out. My team notified.

Two hours later…

All I want is the dang api. How hard is it to put the prices on the home page and let anyone pay and start using it?
